Silverstar Software was formed when three experienced Programme and Project Managers identified the need for off-the-shelf project and programme management tools that would be easy to use, require minimal training yet address the key requirements of companies who wanted to track multiple projects in a simple and consistent way.

We aim to help small and medium businesses and organisations save time and money by doing boring but unavoidable day-to-day tasks quickly and simply. In doing so we will facilitate a project planning methodology and culture to all staff within any company or organisation.  In particular we aim to help people who are not designated or trained as Project Managers or Planners, or from a technical background get to grips with the basics of these skills without making them feel overburdened by the experience.

Our philosophy is to use People, Projects, Plans and Programmes, to give a Process to track Progress, delivering the Power to Perform!

The company's founders have diverse experience, covering large-scale capital investment, change programmes, business start-ups, software development and support, etc.

This was acquired in a variety of fields including energy, utilities, rail, oil, telecomms, IT, finance systems, support, Year 2000 compliance, and provided a wealth of knowledge of the practical implications of project management in the real world.
