Projects are created within two higher levels of a hierarchical structure by a Senior Manager
New projects can be entered here or can be loaded from requests from other users
Each project must have at least one Phase and may have more if required

Each project is assigned a code, a Project Manager and allocated to a Cost Centre
It will be designated as either a Development project (having a specific start and end point) ...
... or as an ongoing Background project. Development projects should have Progress Reports
The titles of 'Business' and 'Domain' can be changed by the Administrator to reflect your company

This diagram shows all, or only current projects and their position in the project hierarchy
It can be printed in A4 or A3 format and may require multiple pages
The Silver-Owl logo can be replaced with your own

This report lists all staff and the project they are assigned to
It gives the proportion of their time they are expected to utilise over the next month
A reduced version shows all those with more than 100% of their time allocated ...
... based upon the percentages entered into the Project Team Members screen

This shows all projects and the estimated time that team members are expected to spend on each

Each project has Team Members which must include a Project Manager
Team Members are assigned a primary Role and may be given Update Access to project data
You may specify the proportion of their time expected on each project over (say) the next month ...
... this may be used by a Senior Manager as a guide to potential workload difficulties

Projects are structured within two higher levels of a project hierarchy
These are defined by the Administrator when installing Silver-Owl but can be changed later ...
... for example 'Business' or 'Site' or 'Division' or 'Domain' may be appropriate titles
