How to use this section

You can either read through and scroll down through the screen images and associated commentary

All users can potentially use these facilities as the need arises on their projects

Record your minutes and actions from a meeting
Print your minutes in a consistent format
Track the progress of assigned actions
Report outstanding project actions

Meetings are organised by Title, for each project

Attendees can be selected from a list of Project Team members and 3rd-party contacts

People not in the team can be entered as guests

 

Each Minute is entered separately, and may be marked 'Confidential' to restrict who can see it

Minutes are automatically numbered from 1 for each type of meeting (Title)

You can view many minutes at once on a separate screen if you wish, and swap their order

 

Each Minute may have up to 250 Actions

Each Action will be assigned an 'Owner' who was at the meeting and works for your company

The Owner is responsible for ensuring that the action is done

Each Action also has any number of 'Actionees' who must do it

They must be defined to Silver-Owl

 

When you are happy with the Minutes, they may be 'Published'

 

Actions can be tracked and updated - you can decide if they must first be published

 

Minutes of Meetings can be printed in a consistend A4 format, for presentation to 3rd parties

Actions, Actionees and Action Owners are clearly identified

With all reports, the Silver-Owl logo can be replaced with your own, if you wish

 

Once Actions have been enetered, their Status and Progress should be updated as it happens

The Action Owner and Actionee(s) may update their details - if these are the same person they only need to do it once

You can specify whether these details can be updated before the Minutes are Published, or only afterwards

All Actions assigned to each person or project can also be accessed and updated using the Action Tracking tool

 

A tabulated report of all outstanding actions can be produced at any time

This is particularly useful when reviewing them at a subsequent meeting
